The Hotel Pfeiferhof is located on a sunny slope, just outside the village centre of Maranza: Amid lush meadows, set on an alpine plateau – offering you a fantastic view into the country. The fascinating vista of lovely valley views and majestic peaks makes us a panoramic hotel that offers you truly charming impressions. At the foot of the striking Mount Gitschberg (2,510 m), Maranza and the Pfeiferhof are located on a natural terrace, offering an ideal starting point for hikes, excursions, and skiing experiences. In about 2 hours walk from our hotel, you may reach the “Gampenalm” (1,811 m), a mountain lodge where in the warm season once a week we organize convivial get-togethers for our guests.

Wherever you spend your time in our house, you may always admire the breath-taking view of the picturesque village of Maranza and the Isarco Valley: on the sun terrace, in the elegant lounge area or in the panoramic dining room. With 280 sunny days per year, our region is truly sun-kissed. The fascinating landscape offers a great variety: Virtually at our doorstep, the Pusteria Valley branches off from the Isarco Valley and opens into one of the most beautiful regions in South Tyrol, north of the Alpe di Luson. Down in the valley, the river Rienza flows. Rio di Pusteria, Rodengo and the romantic “Mühlbacher Klause” are in the immediate vicinity and invite you for a visit. From our panoramic hotel, you may see Mount Plose (2,504 m), the local mountain of Bressanone, whose baroque old town is well worth a visit. Further to the south and to the east the proud peaks of the Dolomites rise.

Where two unique landscapes merge, you may spend a fabulous holiday. The nearby Isarco Valley has a lot to offer for active vacationers. Starting from our house, you may easily reach many destinations and explore the areas between the cities of Vipiteno and Chiusa. Enjoy a small preview of this magnificent view already today.
